If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, the Consumer Family Learning Center (CFLC) is here for you!

The CFLC offers a wide selection of activities, such as:

  • Anonymous support groups

  • Classes

  • Social activities

  • Arts and crafts

  • Trips into the community

  • and much more!
     

The Consumer Family Learning Centers are community resources for self-help and peer support for people whose lives have been affected by mental illness and/or substance use. The Centers located in Bakersfield, Tehachapi, and Ridgecrest are funded by Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (Kern BHRS) through Mental Health Services Act funds. They are open to anyone 18 years of age or older who has an interest in mental health and substance use recovery. Anyone can come to the centers to learn about recovery, make friends and have fun.
