Jessica Armstrong, LMFT serves as Deputy Director over Clinical Services, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She joined KernBHRS in 2005 as a therapist and has made significant contributions in various roles, including as a therapist. She has made significant contributions in multiple roles, including as the administrator of the Contracts Division, where she implemented strategies to improve contracting practices and oversight. 

Before becoming Deputy Director, Jessica gained extensive experience working with both children and adults in various settings, including rural and urban outpatient clinics, homeless services, and criminal justice environments. She also played a significant role in developing programs for homeless services. 

A native of Taft, Jessica has played a crucial role in enhancing mental health services in her hometown and other rural areas of Kern County.
